- Someone mentions faith, sin, or redemption
- A prisoner or warden argues with Ripley
- Someone questions Ripley’s story about the aliens
- The xenomorph hisses or drags someone into the dark
- Ripley clutches her side or looks physically weakened
- A character says something philosophical or bleak
- There’s a close-up of dripping water or steam (bonus: take two if the camera pans slowly before someone dies)
- The alarm sounds or lights flash red
- Someone sacrifices themselves or talks about fate
