Backrooms (2026) Drinking Game
Drink Every Time:
Finish Your Drink:
- These words "Rooms", "Copy", or "Async" are said
- The camera shifts to a distorted, found-footage style handycam perspective or a fish-eye lens.
- You hear the distinct, oppressive hum of flickering fluorescent lights or notice a stark yellowish tint over the screen.
- Clark pours himself a drink or brings up his failing furniture business, Cap'n Clark's Ottoman Empire.
- Mary (the therapist) references her own childhood trauma, her agoraphobic mother, or her self-help audio tapes.
- An Async Research Institute scientist is seen staring blankly at a surveillance monitor or wearing a hazmat suit.
- A character stumbles across a piece of deeply wrong, malformed furniture or hits a surreal dead end (like the infinite pool room).
- A "Still Life" entity—one of the Backrooms' creepy, unresponsive human imitations—stares impassively at a character.
Finish Your Drink:
- The group enters a steeply sloped corridor
- Down the rest of your drink as the credits roll to toast the ultimate, tragic loss of reality
