- Lord Raiden shoots lightning or references the wisdom (and complete uselessness) of the "Elder Gods."
- Shao Kahn aggressively swings his massive war hammer.
- A character is introduced who was dead in the first movie but has been resurrected by necromancy (like Kung Lao or Kano).
- Someone gets impaled, stabbed, or thrown into a hazardous environment (like an acid pit).
- Kano betrays someone or explicitly states that he is only helping out for his own selfish reasons.
Finish Your Drink When:
- Quan Chi and Shang Tsung use Shinnok's amulet
- Johnny Cage destroys the amulet
