• Someone uses the elevator 
• A flashback or flash-forward occurs (when the show jumps timelines).
• They explore a new room of Lumon
• Someone looks at a screen (or monitor) with a disoriented expression.
• The history of Lumon is explained 
• Mark's wife is referenced 
  

Take a Big Sip when:

• A major plot twist is revealed.
• A character has an intense conversation in the break room.
• Milchick intervenes or punishes an employee 
• The Board are called 
• ​Mark has a quiet moment of self-reflection.

​Finish Your Drink when:

• A character experiences a “memory” loss (forgetting something important).
• Someone makes a dramatic escape or break from Lumon.
• There’s a major confrontation with the higher-ups at Lumon (such as the boardroom or an intense meeting).
• There’s a major reveal about the severance procedure or its hidden purpose.
• A character experiences a massive breakdown or emotional outburst.
